How to edit an event?

I cannot edit the events in my calendar, although I am online as host user, as admin user, etc. How to do that?

This post address the following problem:

The mouse over pop up at the Calendar View no longer works in version 2.5.

At the calendar view of previous versions, the mouse over effect to display the brief information at the Calendar view was done with simple HTML and javascripts.

In 2.5, JQuery is used for better interface and speedy response. However, in order for this to work, the template for the Calendar view MUST be changed.

If you upgraded 2.5 over existing version, the template is not changed.

All you need to do is following steps:

1. Backup your website and database (Recommended)
2. Click on Main Settings at the Module menu
3. Update the Template according to this page:

How do I delete an event?

Many users had asked this question, how do I delete an event from the calendar?

By default, the Edit button only appears in List view, it is rendered by the token [EDIT].

This means, you do not see an Edit, or Delete button for the event at the Calendar view, so many users thought they can only Purge the event at the maintenance page.

If you want to display the Edit (a little pencil, in the attached image) button for the Calendar view, you can do so by adding the [EDIT] token to the Calendar view template at the template Settings page.

Admin Register a Member

Integration with Active Social

Is there a way to filter your Events and Registration by a GroupId or UserId so that it can be integrated with Active Social? My intent would be to provide a calendar for each group in Active Social.

Maybe I don't need a filter. Would I just need to install an Event and Registration module for each group? That would mean I would need a hidden page for every Group in my Social Networking site. So that might not work either.

Let me know what you think the options are and if anyone else has approached you about using this product with Active Social.

Pricing discount on Snowcovered

On snowcovered it says I qualify for a discount and can purchase the module for about $13. On check out it remains $139. Am I missing something? I haven't punched the final submit wondering.

Show events for next month

I must be missing a check box somewhere but how would I should an future event say on Sept. 2 2010 when we are still in August 2010 in month view? If I switch to September I see them, but I would like to see them while still in August for the few days of September that show up in the August calendar.

Reactivate Licence of Eventcalendar

we bought the Eventcalendar and Registration modul an we are very happy with it.
Now we changed our hardware and transfert the website to a new provider. The Modul is now not activated.
How can a reactivate the modul? Its very urgent.

Hi!
This is what i need, i would like to know if you think your module is up for it.

My client rents out apartments in a couple of cities.

*She wants to have a calender where she can display wich apartments are available and wich
ones are not.

*Her clients browses to a certain date, and can then see what appartments are available (or the opposite wich ones are booked)

*Clients dont need to log in, and cannot book through calender. They can only see what is available.

*Only dates are necesary, not hours. Therefore the display should be month or week based.

Flash Calendar

Hi

Even thought I have used the event calendar many times over, this is the first time that I have used the Flash calendar. I installed it and it works, but it gives me an error message at the bottom - "level0.dnnportalid". Any idea what's that about and how I can get rid of that error message? The rest of the calendar seems to look fine.

1. I know this is strange, but can we lock the calendar to ONLY show specific dates? My client only has an event on 21, 22 & 23 sept 2010 (different dates each year) and we want to use this to show the schedule of events. Can this be done?
2. Can we import the data from a excel spreadsheet?

Duplicate Email notification not received

Hi

I am using Event calender 4.0.0 in my client site

I have enabled "Send email upon event registration", "Also send duplicate email to event owner" and also applied my mail address for "Upon Registration, Send Duplicate Email To" in the Manage Email Notification option.

when the user register for an event the event owner and the registered user has recieved the mail but i did not recieve the duplicate email.

Can you please give me a fix for it.

By trying to catch some information out of the calender, I could not find the information of the custom fields. Can someone tell me, where I can find the custom values of an event tablename)?

I'm testing your module and I'm exalted.
But there are some smaller issues, solved by your update 4.0.1

As it seems, this update is only available for DNN 5.xx.
Is there an update for 4.9.5 as well?
