Good Day,

I am building a training registration program using the event calendar I have been using the ddn 5.2 . I just got yours in demo (trial) mode. It seems to be working ok but I have a question.
1. We have 3200 employees here, I have gave them all userID's and Passwords already and they are in theuser database along with names ect.... We also have a set list of alot of classes we hold inside the plant that are manditory. So as well as our employees going into the site and regestering for the classes we are offering here at the training center we need a way that we can bulk register employees (using a dept. number in the user properties) to spacific classes (events) all at once. If not possible from the event cal, is there anything out there that could search the database pulled by field then assign them to a spacific event that we have?

We have the event Cal set up with classes already and our trainers use it to schedule what trainer or trainers will be where and when and it seems to work great. Thats why we would like to keep using the same module to do all of the training needs we have.

Anyway any help or ideas woudl be great.

Randal,

You can store the attendees in "My attendees" list, during registration, you can chose "Remember this attendee", so never time when you register for an event, the attendees (users) are listed there, but you still need to add them one by one. so it is not really a bulk registration.

The idea way for your case, is to customize your own add-on module, first, to manage a list of users in a group, or by security role, then register them at one go.

But the display may go haywire if you register more than 300 users for one event, but I am sure the module can take it, you just need to figure out how to display it.

Let me know if you need any help.

Thanks.
