I was expecting to see integration between the Facility Booking module and the Events module but I'm missing it if it's there. Our staff schedule dozens of workshops each quarter. Right now the rooms are booked using Exchange and it's a separate process. Instructors are the only ones who can book these rooms. It would be useful to have some kind of integration with the Facility Booking module where the room is booked when the instructor selects the venue. Of course somewhere in this process there would need to be a verification that the room has been or cannot be booked. Maybe a popup showing the rooms availability for that day or week if the booking fails or maybe as part of the venue selection.
I looked a the Onyaktech solution but it seems to send the booking for groups of events to a single Exchange calendar. That would seem to make it difficult to book rooms 'live' and to book multiple rooms from multiple events.
If the Facility Booking integration is there, we'll be interested in purchasing this module.
Thanks,
Mike

I've installed the version 4.0 demo module package and I can't seem to get the integration to work. I can't find info in user docs or on forum. Please direct me to where the instructions are or provide me with some details as to how the integration works. Thanks

Update: I did follow the instructions on page 27 of the user guide but it doesn't seem to do anything. Facilities are not displayed when you try to book an event and facility bookings do not show up in the caldenar, even with set to display all.

Rob,
In order to book the facility, you need to create a Venue = Facility Name, so the system will know the venue is same as facility, and book it for you when you create the event.
However, I understand this is not perfect, we will enhance so that it is a true integration. :)
