You are most welcomed to contribute your language pack for your own locale to the community. You can post it to this forum or email to support @ invenmanager.com.

If you post or provide a language pack, you are deemed to agree that the licensing belongs to Invenmanager.com and you allow other users use your language pack freely.

How to CREATE a language pack:
===================================
After you insatalled the module Event Calendar & Registration, you need to create your language pack for your DNN portal. If you are techi enough, you can open the resource file to edit and save it as a corresponding name. Otherwise, please follow the steps beow:

1. Login as Administrator, and click the menu Admin >> Languages
2. Select the language you would like to create from the drop down list at the center. (You should see a list of available languages for your portal, if it is not in the list, you need to login as Host Account and add it from Host >> Languages)
3. Nevigate from the left, and find the files under directory:
/Desktopmodules/EventsCalendar/App_LocalResources
4. Click on each file in this directory, and translate into your language, remember to click Update when you done for each file.

After you have done that, the language pack is created, you can package it and share it with others.

How to PACKAGE a language pack:
===================================

After you created a lanaguage pack, you need to access your website files, navigate to the following folder on your website,

/DesktopModules/EventsCalendar/App_LocalResources/

And find the resource files with an name post-fix with your locale, for example, for Britain English, it is en-GB, so all the files you need to find are: *.en-GB.resx

For Italian, it will be it-IT, so the files you need are: *.it-IT.resx

Then you zip all the files into a zip file, upload to this website to share with others.

How to USE a language pack on your website
===================================

If you get a language pack in zip file, make sure it contains resource file for the correct locale you are needed.

For example, if you are looking for German language pack, the resource files should look like this:
**.de-DE.resx in the zip file.

Then all you need to do is to unzip the files in to the following directory of your website:
/DesktopModules/EventsCalendar/App_LocalResources/

You are not done yet, to make sure your website supports this new language pack, you need to make sure this locale is enabled at the Admin >> Languages page.

If you cannot find the locale at the Admin >> Language page, then you need to login as Host Account to add the language pack at Host >> Languages. Otherwise, you can get your website Host administrator to do this for you.

For any problem, please use Technical Support forum for further discussion.

Hi You must also change your portal locale to fr-fr. in order to read the resource file.

Hello Terra Trad,

I see you are talking about French localization.

Would you be Ok to share it?

If necessary, I can continue to work on it.
