Hello, we began using Events Calendar Registration with v2.42 and have upgraded with each version along the way. The primary reason we purchased and have maintained this module is because of the Registration feature. Now, with the new upgrade, the 100% discount is applying only to the Event Calendar (No Registration Feature) version. Is this a mistake? I don't want to upgrade and lose the feature that made this module the right one for us to buy. And I certainly don't want to pay full price for something I already have and have been faithful to for all of this time.

This is a free upgrade to all v3.0 users.
If you have v3.0 Standard Edition, you will v3.1 Standard Edition free. It is NOT a free upgrade for v2.4.2 users.

Do you have v3.0? and what edition is that?

As I mentioned above, we started with 2.27, then upgraded to 2.42 then 2.5 and most recently to 3.0 on Snowcovered invoice 0C06E6D81F0D45F7BEB17280841F820F dated 10/12/2009 - the zip file we have is Event_Calendar_Registration_3.0_PA_DNN4.zip

Your license for v3.0 is for Event Calendar - Standard Edition, (it does not support Registration)
That's why you can only get free upgrade to v3.1, same edition: Event Calendar - Standard Edition.


Please note from v2.5 upgrade to v3.0, the free upgrade is for Event Calendar - Standard Edition only. You can see from the upgrade policy here:

Now I'm confused. I've installed the 3.1 upgrade and I still have the ability to allow registrations. Which was my original concern - I didn't want to lose the ability to allow registrations.

From v2.5 upgrade to v3.0, you will only get Events Calendar (Without registration feature, because this is a major upgrade, and it is not free, but we still give free upgrade with limited features)

From v3.0 upgrade to v3.1 free upgrade, you will get the same edition as your v3.0. so if you v3.0 allow registration, then v3.1 also allows. if v3.0 does not, neither v3.1.

If you have already purchased the edition with Registration feature, then you are allowed to register. Or if you have less than 10 events, it also allows registration.
