I am currently using the Event calendar right now and I have a couple of questions.

1) Currently, when a user wants to add an event to their Outlook calendar, they select "Export to Desktop". Is it possible to change the wording to "Add to Outlook Calendar"? The token can stay the same, I just want something a bit more straight forward for the users.

2) When a user is accepted for an event they receive an email giving them the even information. Is it possible to use the token described above ([EXPORTTODESKTOP]), inside the email? That way the user can just click the link and add the event rather than going to the site to do so..

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Try it this way:
[EXPORTTODESKTOPLINK|your text or image]

You also can do it the same for following:
[REGISTERLINK]
[READMORELINK]

Hello!

I have tried this fix to change the token name using this [EXPORTTODESKTOPLINK|Save to Outlook] , It does indeed change the name for me, though it breaks the link and returns an error. Any suggestions. Also I noticed that the word "LINK" was added to the token so I tried to delete it to no Avail. So far the only way it works is as the token [EXPORTTODESKTOP].

Thank you!

Hi, AWC,

The token works, there is a problem in your template:
What you have is:
[EXPORTTODESKTOPLINK|Save to Outlook] (This is wrong)

Change to:
[EXPORTTODESKTOPLINK|Save to Outlook]

It will work!!!. Do you see the difference? ” and "
