Is it possible to define for each event which user role is allowed to see that event? I've not found any possibility to achieve that.

If it's not possible: It would be perfect to have that feature in one of the next releases.

Chris,

Currently we control the permission via Category.
You can set the Category to be viewable by a user role, and then link the event to that category.
