I have Event Calendar 5.03 on my localhost, DNN 6.1.1

When I click on the event link, the popup appears with this Server App error in Firefox.

Server Error in '/' Application.
The resource cannot be found.
Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested URL: /DesktopModules/EventsCalendar/popupevent.aspx

In addition, the background of the top of the page, where the Admin, Host, Pages, Modules links are located, becomes black when the Event Calendar module is added to the page.

How can we fix this?

Thanks.

Stan,

We released v5.0.4 that works with DNN6.1.1, please download and install the upgrade.

Also, is the file in your folder? /DesktopModules/EventsCalendar/popupevent.aspx

Hi I have install 5.05 but I am having the same error.

Only when clicking the event in the calendar view does the error appear

In IE 7,8 the pop up ppears with nothing showing other that the close button
In Firefox the error is the same as listed in the about ticket.

/DesktopModules/EventsCalendar/popupevent.aspx is not found

I checked the location and it is there but with changing case DesktopModules/EventsCalendar/PopupEvent.aspx

I renamed it so it was not and no change

I am using the DNN version 6.1.2

On http://www.third-time.com/cms/Events.aspx

I have put one test event there please see

OK,

This is because you have configured the sub portal http://www.third-time.com/cms on a new DotnetNuke Install.

The program is looking for: http://www.third-time.com/DesktopModules/EventsCalendar/popupevent.aspx

If you are using a sub portal, it should be part of the main portal with same DNN install.

I have not intentionally created a sub portal, the instance is the main portal only I had put dotnetnuke install in a virtual directory so I could keep it separate from other applications. I have copied the desktopmodules folder to the root level and the problem is resolved. Its not as clean as I'd like - is there are way to create an root alias in the event manager or is that a dotnetnuke configuration?

Thanks

Darren,

Currently the pop up will not work for dotnetnuke install in a virtual directory. as you may have sub portals under that dnn install as well.

good to know it is working now.
