Many users had asked this question, how do I delete an event from the calendar?

By default, the Edit button only appears in List view, it is rendered by the token [EDIT].

This means, you do not see an Edit, or Delete button for the event at the Calendar view, so many users thought they can only Purge the event at the maintenance page.

If you want to display the Edit (a little pencil, in the attached image) button for the Calendar view, you can do so by adding the [EDIT] token to the Calendar view template at the template Settings page.
