As suggested on other threads I tried commenting out all styles with "position:relative"; didn't help. Same error.

How do I diagnose this issue??

Steve,

It is js error...

1. What DNN version you are using?
2. What module version?

I went to http://www.queenbeefitness.com, but cannot find the Calendar module. Let me see the page so that I can tell the problem.

Steve,

Yes, I noticed that in IE8.

Can you help me with the following?

1. Change the page Skin to default DNN blue skin. (Temporarily)
2. Try add event again.

I suspect it is due to the Skin as we cannot simulate the same problem...

Steve,

You can get help from the Skin developer.

Or you can see what are the javascripts the skin is trying to load, try removing the script file (loaded by Skin) one by one, and then you should be able to tell.

the script error is coming out of your module. Is this something you are looking into?

Steve,

The code canvas-compressed we used is from Google to solve jQuery compatibility with IE.
Do we go after Google for this problem?

If you are not happy with the module, please request a refund from Snowcovered. we are happy to process the refund for you.

You don't leave me any choice but to request a refund. Your module doesn't work with our off-the-shelf skin. The client wants the skin; she doesn't care how I get her the functionality she wants as long as it works. All the other modules I purchased do work. Blame whoever you like, google or the skin developer, but it's your module that fails in this environment. thanx for your time.

Hi,

That's the reason we offer trial version so you can make sure it works for you before you purchase a copy.

If you can get the Skin developer to help, the jQuery scripts conflicts with one or both of the following two scripts used by the Skin.
http://www.queenbeefitness.com/Portals/_default/Skins/Pink_T2/script.js
http://www.queenbeefitness.com/Portals/_default/Skins/Pink_T2/reflection.js

Otherwise, you can request a refund from Snowcovered.com, and we will end the topic from here, after that, the module must be deleted completely and not to be used on any site.

Thanks.

In case this helps anyone else...

Using DNN 5.44 and Events 4.0.3 and an older skin

I received this error after turning on the Ribbon style Control Panel. Changing back to the Iconbar made the problem go away.

I just got this error as well using the latest Trial version with a new install of DNN5.06 Professional

I tried the above suggestion if switching to the icon bar but the error persists:

I'd really like to use your product as it does exactly what we want, has there been any further progress with this error?

Brent,

I have checked your site and can't find any problem now.

Are you able to change the Skin to default DNN skin, and see if works the same way?

We are getting this same error that Brent Guild is having... We are using EM 3.1 and DNN CE v5.6. We don't see the error when using Chrome broswer, only IE 8.0.

David,

Which version of IE are you using?

I tried IE8 it works but the balloon is offset to a different position.

The jQuery scripts we have tested are compatible with IE6, 7, 8.

We are using IE8 with Windows 7 - 64-bit. I tried it on two different machines with the same result.

Thanks,

We changed back to a default skin on that page and it worked. We are using a Bind skin.

Hi,

The developer for Bind skin is very familiar with ECR module, in fact they have customized the plug in for ECR module.

I suggest you to check with Bind on this issue as well.
