Hello again good sirs.

I have a question on event registration.

I am attempting to configure the registration process on events so that any visitor to the site can register for events.

When testing the user registration process, on the general information page first displayed I am prompted only for an email address. The next two prompts (additional items & attendee information) have no prompts or fields at all.

I am aware of the templates where you can add additional messages to the registration process, but I was hoping to get a bit more information from the visitor (full name, how many attending, etc).

I went through the user manual, and could not find anywhere how to gather this information from my visitors. Any ideas?

thanks,
Alex

Hi, Alex,

Which version are you using?

If possible, can you upgrade to latest v5.0.5?

I am using Version 5.0.0.39429

An upgrade could be possible, depending on the cost. I visited the following site:
http://www.invenmanager.com/tabid/729/upgrade-policy.aspx

As I was able to read it, I could not find what discount I would receive as I am already using version 5

Excellent - Is there a way to just simply upgrade the module, or do i need to completely remove the modules and re-install?

No, you just need to install on top of your existing module. DO NOT uninstall anything. Otherwise your data will be lost.

I installed the newest version, and now when I attempt to register, I receive the information prompts!

This does however lead me to my next question, and I thank you once again for your patience.

I would like anyone who visits the site to be able to register for events, not just already registered users.
I found the checkbox in the main settings where I can allow anyone to register for events. I also found the
option where events calendar will create a user login for these people who register! That's exactly the functionality
I was looking for! However, these settings seem to not be working. No matter what I do, when a non-logged in user
attempts to register for an event, at the end of all the prompts, they are asked to log in before being sent to the
registration confirmation page.

Please feel free to view this on your own. A link to my event calendar is below:

Thanks again -
Alex

Problem Fixed.

My registration page was set to view only by admin....

I changed it so all users could view the page. Works great.
