DNN 05.06.01
Calendar version 4.0.6

Site has been fine and functioning for a couple of years

One calendar on the homepage pulling in information from 5 other calendars

In the past couple of weeks problems have been happening,

The main one being the events displaying out of chronological order in the main calendar when "all categories" is showing

We recently upgraded to ASP.Net 4.0 from ASP.Net 2.2 - is this likely to have caused the problem. Kelly D have you changed your .net version?

Hi Maughan,

If it has been working for years, I am not 100% sure if .NET4.0 would cause that to happen.

Would you be able to upgrade to ECR 6.0.1? It should fix that problem and it was tested on .NET 4.0 thoroughly as well.

By the way, great website! welldone!

Thank you.

Hi Maughan,
We haven't upgraded recently and are running ASP.Net 3.5. This is a new instance of the module so it has never worked for us.

Inven Manager,
It looks like we purchased this module two weeks prior to the 6.0.1 release. Could you please contact us regarding upgrading. Seems unfair to have to pay for an upgrade so soon after purchase to fix a glitch.

Thanks,
Kelly

We can't really upgrade as the new version only supports dnn6 and we can't upgrade it without rebuilding the whole site

Also exporting and importing the events seems pretty problematic, the format which gets exported by one module can't be imported by another

What would be causing this issue?

Would it be a rouge event messing up the order?

Is there a quick fix for now?, then I can upgrade the site next week

We have already purchased the latest version of the module in preparation for this

Hi Maughan,

To export/import events, you can click Import/Export from the module menu, it will export the events into XML, and then you can import it to another module using XML as well.

Export to Excel is for your own use, as you can format it to anyway you want.

Hi thanks for your advice. We took your advice to upgrade to the latest version of ECR but have encountered a couple of significant problems, specifically regarding:
- the handling of .png files (black background)
- inability to view image files already on the server
We're going to have to use a previous version of ECR - please can I arrange to get a refund.

Thanks in advance

Hi Maughan,

Sure, you can request a refund from DNN Store (where you purchased the module), or you can send your invoice number to support@invenmanager.com.

Hi there, I'm not sure if you are receiving all the emails sent to support@invenmanager.com email.

We have paid an extra $100 to get two more activation licenses for ECR 4.0 but they haven't been added to our account - we are desperate to activate these please!

We have purchased ECR 6.0.1 and tried to activate the licences using this code too - but to no avail.

If you could help us with some urgency we would be extremely grateful!

PLEASE HELP!

I also have one main calendar that receives events from two other calendars and the events do not get mixed together by date. Rather it shows all of one calendar and then all of the next.

Maughan, were you able fix your problem?

Inven Manager, what needs to be done to fix this?

Hi Maughan,

We had reset your license code, can you try again?

Thanks for sorting this.

Unfortunately the problem we initially tried to fix (events displaying out of order) still persists.

We are trying to rebuild the site now using ECR 6 but encounter a problem with the upload and handling of png files.

There seems to be a problem that removes the transparency of the PNG files on upload - this causes problems with all existing files that we need to transfer over.

Any advice please?

Thanks for the support.

Hi,

Where do you upload the png file?

As attachment or event image?

I have contact support@invenmanager.com regarding our license for ECR 6.0.1 (see post from dec 14 in this thread) and have not had a response. I added that address to our spam filter white list, resent my request and still no response. Is there a better way to contact you?

Thanks

Upload png file as Event Image.

If you need host login details, please email me and I'll send them across.

Thanks!

I am experiencing a similar problem of events displaying out of order, on the main calendar, for seemingly no reason. You can see it here:
http://www.midmichigansustainability.org/Events.aspx
First occurrence is an August 26th event appearing between July 27th-28th.

We just upgraded to ECR 6.0.1 which did not change the issue at all. We are on DNN 6.2.4. Our server has .NET 4.0.
