Why not let the venue owners (restaurants, cafes, convention centers, etc.) create a record for the venue?

In addition to the fields already in place, I would add:

* Venue Capacity
* Picture Gallery (very optional but nice to have)
* Amenities

Maybe make it as an add-on module, like the Attendee module that you provided earlier.
