Our institution is rolling out the AdAstra facility scheduling and calendaring application (Astra Schedule). It is very powerful and will serve the college well but it lacks many of the user friendly presentation elements that exist in your Event Calendar & Registration module. We have recently launched a new DNN website, have installed your module and are working on configuring it now. The question has been raised - can Event Calendar function as a front end for AdAstra? Both are .net applications with an sql database? We are likely to have many authors posting events and while it appears Event Calendar could easily handle them through the use of roles and approvals it would be duplicative to run two systems side by side for the same purpose - specifically posting events. In our case no event can be posted unless the facility space reservation has first been approved. AdAstra will be used for the facility reservation. I noticed the following statement on the AdAstra website: "Information is tailored to the user and made available in the system natively or through your portal, e-mail or embedded in other applications." http://www.versionvii.com/ Is there any integration with AdAstra at this time or planned in the future?
