One of my clients is requiring a printable calendar that uses table tags instead of DIV tags.

The reasoning behind this is that Tables can be copied from the browser and pasted into a publishing application like MS Word or MS Publisher and the calendar will retain all of its formatting.

This calendar can be copied from Firefox and pasted into Word, or Publisher and easily reformatted by folks that would want to include it in another document.

I think having a DIV based calendar for web viewing is great. Having another Table based version for printing also has its advantages.

The DIV for web and table for printing would be a GREAT combination.
