Hi

I have just downloaded and installed the Facility Booking Module successfully. However when I try to add the module to a page I get the following error:

Error: Facility Booking is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: The file '/test.kznIntranet/DesktopModules/FacilityBooking/ViewByDate.ascx' does not exist. ---> System.Web.HttpException: The file '/test.kznIntranet/DesktopModules/FacilityBooking/ViewByDate.ascx' does not exist. at System.Web.UI.Util.CheckVirtualFileExists(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(String virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.ControlUtilities.LoadControl[T](TemplateControl containerControl, String ControlSrc) at DotNetNuke.UI.Modules.ModuleHost.LoadModuleControl() --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I have check the directory to see if all the files exist and have been installed correctly as well as the database to see if all tables have created successfully.

DNN Version: 5.1.4
SQL Server 2005
Facility Booking: 02.01.03

What could the problem be?
Thanx.

Are you setting up your portal at a virtual directory?

Is your virtual directory /test.kznIntranet/ pointing to a different location?

It is most likely due to the virtual directory.

are you able to install it on a main portal and see if you have the same problem?

such as this: www.abc.com, not, www.abc.com/xyz.

Hi,

I am also receiving the "Facility Booking is currently unavailable" error when placing an instance of the Facility Booking module on a page. Following is the first part of the error message that I receiving.

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'ComponentArt.Web.UI, Version=2006.1.1231.2, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=9bc9f846553156bb' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040) ---> System.Web.HttpParseException: Could not load file or assembly 'ComponentArt.Web.UI, Version=2006.1.1231.2, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=9bc9f846553156bb' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040) --->

I believe the error is being caused by the version of the ComponentArt.Web.UI.dll that is installed on the site. I recently installed Document Exchange Professional 5.2.2. This software installed ComponentArt.Web.UI.dll version 2008.2.1204.3.

I have gotten the Facility Booking (2.1.3) software to work by replacing the ComponentArt.Web.UI.dll with the earlier version used by Facility Booking (2006.1.1231.2). Of course, then Document Exchange Professional then does not work and displays a similar error as outlined above.

Since I must use the newer dll version for DMX, how can I get Facility Booking to work with ComponentArt.Web.UI.dll version 2008.2.1204.3?

If it helps, this is site is running on DotNetNuke 5.2.3.

Thank you,
Andrew

Andrew,

Currently this module only works with v2006 DLL and is conflict with the DMX software.

We don't have a solution yet until further development. Thanks.

Inven Manager,

I appreciate your fast response. Somehow I need to make both Facility Booking and DMX work on the same site.

Would you please consider compiling a new PA where the 2006 DLL is renamed so that both the version used by Facility Booking and the version used by DMX can exist in the same bin folder? Or if you have an easier or better solution I would be happy to do whatever I can to help implement that solution.

We can discuss this via email if you would prefer.

Thank you,
Andrew

Just to update, we have gotten a solution on this problem.

You can download and install the latest Facility Booking from Invenmanager Download page, and it will fix the problem.

If you see error, follow the instruction on Download page to get the latest component for Telerik.Web.UI.dll.
