Currently the "Send Notification To" lists all DNN Security Roles. Some roles are meant for security, not distribution, therefore should not be visible. On the other hand, it would be nice to have ability to construct distribution groups for email notification purpose, and not having to rely on DNN security groups.

Is there a way I can hide some of the Security Roles under Send Notification To. If not, can we consider this feature in future release?

Yes, we can make it configurable to have a list of roles to send notifications to.

You can expect this change in the next free upgrade for v4.0 users. in about 2~3 weeks.

If I understand you correctly, it will be configurable so that DNN Security Roles can be selectively added to the Notification Groups. What about adding new Notification Group which does not existing in DNN Security Roles? It primarily consists of the group name and a text block of email addresses.

We have not yet added this feature, if you had a distribution group, you can add a new user role. :)
