HI I have access to AA5.0 source on the download site here at snowcovered, how can I get access to the 5.02 source?

I am specifically having an issue with posting of articles speed, and looking at the source I think it is when

articleController.RemoveSatelliteCache(); is called

I think this may be calling all the satelittle modules across the entire portal, which is now a few hundred modules. I am hoping to get the source to try commenting out that line and see if there is a performance boost. we can then dig a bit deeper to see where the actual bottle neck is

I also had an issue where the cache for the satelittlies were cleared and not rebuilt - I resolved this by adjusting the cache settings on the satelitte modules

Thanks!
Greg

thanks!

Hi Greg,

Can I have a look at the portal you have that implemented a few hundred Satellite modules?

Is a demo site, no admin access, but you can log in as a user.

It is a couple of hundred portals with 2 satellite mods each,

email me at my portal address and I will give you an admin password.

Hi,

Well, if you have a few hundred portals on one DNN install, it might be slow for everything...

We will check on the Articles module for more details on this..

HI

Any word on this? or can you supply the source of the latest build so I can investigate myself (I am an enterprise licence source holder, only 5.0 was available on snowcovered/store.dotnetnuke.com)

Thanks!
