Hi

I have just installed the 4.2 version of the module, but when I click on the import text/html i am getting the following error:

Error: is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: C:\Inetpub\TarrantCounty\Website\DesktopModules\ContentManager\Import.ascx.vb(142): error BC30455: Argument not specified for parameter 'ItemID' of 'Public Function GetHtmlText(ModuleID As Integer, ItemID As Integer) As DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.HtmlTextInfo'. ---> System.Web.HttpCompileException: C:\Inetpub\TarrantCounty\Website\DesktopModules\ContentManager\Import.ascx.vb(142): error BC30455: Argument not specified for parameter 'ItemID' of 'Public Function GetHtmlText(ModuleID As Integer, ItemID As Integer) As DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.HtmlTextInfo'. at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.CompileWebFile(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResult(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(String virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.ControlUtilities.LoadControl[T](TemplateControl containerControl, String ControlSrc) at DotNetNuke.UI.Modules.ModuleHost.LoadModuleControl() --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I am using DNN 5.1.2, and I don't know why I'm getting this error. Is there an incompatibility issue between the module and dnn? hope that you can help me solving this.

Regards

Which version of HTML/Text module are you using?

It is compatible with v4.8.

Hi

I have the v5.1.3 of the html module... so it is supposed that I have to downgrade this module so the content manager module will work??
Because I don't think that this should be a very viable solution.

I'll be looking forward for your comments

My apologies, as DNN 5.12 is still new, we have not yet tested import on this new version of HTML module.

We probably will release a new update for the new DNN 5.x very soon.

Do you have lots of HTML module used already?

Hi

Ok, we will wait for this module update... and for now we have some HTML modules but maybe we can manually convert them until your udpate is ready.

Thanks for your reply.

Can you give us an estimate for when this update should be coming out?

Has this issue been resolved for version 05.02.01 version of DNN? I would like to buy the module for this feature alone.

Hi There,

I'm also getting the same issue with Content Manager 4.2 on a DNN 5.2.3 website. The HTML module is v5.2 and I'm getting exactly the same error message as Mario originally posted.
What is the progress on fixing this?
It's quite an issue for us now and we don't have the spare resources to assign our own developers to fixing it at the moment.

Cheers
