Hi just wondering if you can import an excel file of events with this module and if so, what are the fields required/available?

Current version v2.5 supports import from XML.

Coming new version v3.0 supports import from XML, and Default DNN Events module.

In order to import from Excel, the workaround is to convert Excel to XML according to the XML format. You can find many converters around, such as this:

How to get the format for XML? Go to EC&R module menu, click on Export, the events data will be exported to an XML file in your portal directory.
