Pre-sales questions. My site is primarily a black background with burnt orange and gold. I would like to be able to change the white background of the monthly calendar to a light gold and the heading to a burnt orange/red. The would also like to change the event text, not hightlighted (category). Is this possible thru CSS? Do you have instructions on how to do this. I need to make sure it can match my color scheme before I purchase the product.

Yes, absolutely.

You can change the CSS under View Options, and it is self explanatory. Thanks

OK, Under View -> Options, Theme Settings I can see how you can change the color scheme. However, I've made all the changes in the css file to my color scheme, applied it and nothing changes. I have even gone back and picked another CSS theme, applied it and then changed it back. Still doesn't change to my CSS theme. Any ideas?

Can you tell me the CSS variable I need to change in the monthly view for the event text? So far, I'm very satisfied with the trial and will be purchasing the full product next week. Do you have a comprehensive manual (i.e. CSS variables, etc.)?

Hi,

After you change the CSS file, did you click on the small Save button to save it? (before you click on Update)

I did figure that out regarding the save button. Where I'm having issues now is changing the event title text color in the monthly view. I don't have any categories, so what is the default color and how do I change it. I've made my own CSS theme, but can't figure out what CSS variable controls the text color.

Hi,

Great that you fixed that!

You can manage the Text color for the monthly view via the Calendar View template at View Options.

Found by changing the .pop variable in the CSS file changes the text color in the monthly view. I am having an issue with the Satellite view. When I put that on my home page and then click on an event date, nothing appears. The sceen blinks and then goes back tothe home page. Any ideas?

Hi,
So this is a different question.

For Satellite module, please check your View Options, are you showing a small calendar?
The behavior also can be changed via View Options, either link to the main calendar page, or show a list of events below. Please check the View Options on the Satellite module...

I'm trying to get all the bugs worked out of this module before purchasing. I've attached a file to how another problem I'm dealing with. When I'm in list view and click on the Venue, the information gets cut off. It seems to get cut off due to the page height or width (doesn't float). An Ideas?

Well, it is strange, as the CSS .vTable only limit the width to 380px. but no limt on height.

Can you show me your webpage?

Well, I actually had to modify the Venue tokens in View options to get it to fit. The website is http://www.stefanientertainment.com/Events.aspx. Also, a few follow-up questions: 1. What happens when I exceed the calendar view box. Will it give me a more...?, or can I make the calendar squares larger. 2. How to I change the default reminder time from 5 minutes to ex. 5 days. 3. Change I change the text "Export to Desktop" to say "Export to Outlook"

Still having the issue with the height on the Calendar View callout box. Besides this issue, I want to modify the Calendar View Template so the callout box displays the Venue name that you can click on as a link (just like (map)..) and it will take you to the venue website. I was able to get that to work on the Venue View template. Please see my attachment to see what I'm trying to accomplish. Also, instead of displaying "more..." at the bottom of the callout, I want to display "Export to Desktop (Outlook)" instead of clicking on "More..." and taking you to the List View template. My overall goal is to eliminate the number of clicks a person has to click on. Too confusing to them. BTW, my website is http://www.stefanientertainment.com.

Hi, you have asked many questions, let me try to answer all of them:

1. The default reminder is to 5 minutes, can't be changed now...

2. You can change the "Export to Desktop" to anything you want by going to Admin >> Languages, Language Editor, navigate to the left side, find /desktopmdules/eventscalendar/view.ascx, and then you can find the strings to change it for your portal.

3. You can change the calendar view popup template at the View Options page, you can add other tokens you want, please refer to the Token Replacement guide, a link is provided at the View Options page.

Thanks.
