Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the Bulk Registration page seems to have several limitations:

1. does not allow the user to add multiple attendees
2. does not track the price or status of each event registration.
3. a confirmation e-mail is not sent
4. the confirmation page that I configured the module for is not displayed

This feature is quite important to us. Parents will want to sign their kids up for several after school activities at once.

Nathan,

what you say is right.

The bulk registration feature is quite limited so most of the users are signing up event one by one. How exactly you want the bulk registration to be?

After I select multiple events from the Bulk Registration page, I'd like for it to give me the regular registration page (or a very similar page) with the events that I've selected listed at the top. The price could show the total price for all events that I've selected assuming one participant. When I submit the registration information, the total payment is recorded as if I signed up for each event one by one and I would receive one confirmation e-mail. It would be fine if I was not allowed to sign up multiple people at once in this mode, but then again, it may not be hard to implement it so that it allows multiple. The assumption would be that the same attendees are being registered for each of the events.

It would also be great if there was also a "shopping cart" concept so that I could sign up one or more participants for one or more events (possibly different events for different participants) and then go to a page to check out so that I could make a payment only once. This is for a PTA organization where parents register their kids for classes that we provide. So, a parent may have several children and want to sign up different kids for different events and then make one payment. We would, of course, still need records of how the payment breaks down to pay for each event, which the module seems to do quite well already.

I prefer your "event cart" idea.

User can register for multiple events, event different attendee for different event.

After each registration, he can choose to click on Pay Later, or continue registration.

Once he completed registration for all events, he can click a button at somewhere, called Check out/or make payments, then on this page, it will show all events he registered, and then pay for the total amount. After the process is completed, all registration records are updated with Paid status.

This functionality would be incredibly useful for us. We typically sponsor multi-day events and allow our registrants to enroll in multiple days a la carte. Having this type of registration enables people to choose the events they want to enroll in, then check-out, without having to repeat the same information over and over. Just like you said, analogous to a shopping cart. You could then use this module for a whole host of new applications, like conference registration, class/course enrollment, hotel booking, etc. Would make it quite powerful and to the best of my knowledge there isn't anything else out there that allows this out of the box.

Bob,

Yes, this feature is in our list of features to be added, the only thing I can't promise you is the time of delivery as there are many other features we are still working on, most of them are sponsored by some of the users, so we will be working on them as we promised delivery. Hope you can understand...

Has anything been done with this request? I have similar conditions that would fit this need as well.

Mike,

The event cart feature is available in v4.0.6 now. Please download the free upgrade if you have v4.0.
