Hi,
I purchased a copy of 2.1 in May 2008 for one of my clients, and there are a few things that have been bugging him quite a bit (although we bought 2.1, I believe you gave him an upgrade to 2.4.3 at some point). It looks like they are complete in this new version. That said, it does not appear that there is a discount for license holders of 2.1? Is that correct?
We want to buy Single license of event calendar & registration 3, but the client is hesitant to buy again at full price.
thanks
Tim Hardin

PS -- i submitted this through snowcovered but the reply said to use the forums...

I am sorry, but 2.1 is very outdated. Discount is given to 2.4.2 users.

However, I can give you a coupon for a 10% discount valid till 30 July: NEWUPGRADE

OK, thanks for the 10%. I will have to talk to my client as he did not authorize me to spend quite that much.
For what it's worth, I don't agree with your statement "very outdated" for two reasons.

1. Version 2.1 to 3.0 is a single version step -- granted there were several iterations of v2 (2.1, 2.4, 2.5), but it was still v2, the immediately previous version to v3.

2. We only bought 2.1 in May of 2008 -- 14 months ago. I buy a lot of software -- it is a huge part of my budget as a developer -- both for myself as well as for my clients. If someone like Adobe or MS told me that something I bought new 14 months ago was "very outdated" and not subject to a significant discount for upgrade, I would be very upset.

I do appreciate you as a developer creating modules for DNN. I think it is important, and I think that the calendar/registration functionality is under developed in the market.

thanks,
tim

Hi,

We purchased Event Calendar ver.2.4.2 ($199.95) on 02/19/09. I tried to purchase the 'Event Calendar & Registration - Enterprise License' on Snowcoverd. But it did not show 80% discount when I checked out. I emailed support@invenmanager.com as well but no response yet. Please help! Thanks.

This may have been asked already but if we are running version 2.5.5 and we want to upgrade to version 4.0, is there a discount for that?

Thanks

Thank you..

I received the emails showing the license key and download link. However under my downloads at Snowcovered it only shows the 3.11 version available.. Also nothing shows up under Patches and Upgrades either.

Thanks,

Our current version of Events Calendar & Registration Enterprise is 3.0. I viewed the upgrade policy and went to snowcovered to purchase the upgrade. Through all the screens I didn't see any discounts being applied. Could you let me know if this instance is still eligible for a discount so I can take that information back to my client? This is the invoice number: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx It was purchased on 10/23/2009.

Good product.

Hi,

You can get free upgrade to v3.1 first, and then you will enjoy discounts on v4.0 as well...

Thanks for the response. One last dumb question. I did see the download being applied to the 4.0 version when I added the 3.1 to my shopping cart, however, you mentioned a free upgrade to 3.1. Where would that be available? Adding that to my shopping cart didn't reflect any free upgrade and purchasing it just for the 4.0 discount gives me a more expensive outcome than just purchasing 4.0 straight. I'm sure I'm missing a step here...

Hi,

If you have purchased v3.0, v3.1 you can purchase it for free.

And then you will see v4.0 with huge discount.

Your case, could be that, you have purchased the free 3.1 before, it only gives you one time free purchase of v3.1

We haven't purchased v3.1 before. So I guess if I can't get that free upgrade, is purchasing v3.1 necessary to upgrade to v4.0?

Hey guys,

I really am sorry to be a pain but I've yet to receive that promo code. Our mail servers can be slow sometimes, but do you mind resending it? I don't know if you have a 'owner of the account must use their email', but [nicole @ arkesystems.com] is the developer on our project that will upgrade this module. Do you mind sending it to her email?

Hey guys,

I checked and still haven't received that email. I checked junk mail and our spam blocker service and they didn't catch anything either. Is there a chance you can send it to my personal email then? courtneystoll @yahoo.com? My client is getting antsy about having this done before the 1st of February. Also, just verification, you're sending it to the courtney @ arkesystems.com email correct? I believe that's the email for my account but wanted to double check that was what we tried.

Hi, I keep seeing information on the forum about upgrades to the new version... I have version 4.0.6 purchased 0n 10/26/2010

I have yet to install it in a working site (something that I have doing very soon). Is there an upgrade that I should be installing instead? It is a free upgrade? Please tell me more. I can provide my invoice number, but would rather not do that here...

Thanks!
