Gary, I figured out all my FLA issues and got the component
<http://live.fpparks.com/> looking "good enough" for now (the way Flash
hides code on Movie Clips/Buttons is maddening). I have only one remaining
issue. The client does not wish to publish and include a photo for every
Calendar/Event entry. Do you know of some way to display a default image or
graphic so that I don't get the big blank white spot in the Flash component?

1. First of all, this is one of the best design in the DNN community.
Kudos to you!



2. You should change the Flash to read HTML instead of reading as text
in the XML. ( I am not sure where exactly it is as it is done by a 3rd
party)



I am in the mid of revamping the Flash Calendar as well. So next time you do
not need to modify the flash source codes to get it changed. You can choose
the background, size, layout, and so on. However, it is not available now. J

Two quick questions.



1. I have downloaded and made slight modifications to eventscalendar.fla as
you can see here <http://live.fpparks.com/> (still working on it). I have
gone through the code line by line and cannot a) find where I can change the
colors of days in the little/right calendar (border and background) and b)
if you click on July 1st, you will notice the description now picks up
<desc> and other pseudo-HTML tags - when I switch back to the original
eventcalendar.swf this goes away. I only replaced the two graphics, what
could be causing this? c) where is the ActionScript code that gets executed
WHEN you click on a day? I cannot find it. (I haven't done much Flash since
early 2007, so it might just be a matter of telling me how to navigate to it
in Flash CS3)



2. When will 3.0 be available? Since I bought 2.5 so recently will it be a
free upgrade?
