Hello,

we have a problem that the email notification after registration will not be sent (neither to the registration email nor to the event owner).

Emails from the server (for example DNN bulk mails) will be sent successfully, also from/to the same email address.

Any idea what's wrong? The people should receive a confirmation after they're registred for an event.

Regards
Silvio

Silvio,

it looks like some users are having this problem after upgrading to v3.1. we will provide a new release to fix this problem very soon.

By the way, which payment processor are you using?

Thanks, we're using offline payment only atm. Since we know how to add additional currencies probably we will also integrate paypal.

Please let me know when the fix is ready, thanks

Hello,

I am having issues with Email notification as well. The issue for me is that the custom property tokens aren't publishing anything in the sent email. I have been using the custom properties tokens that show up in the list in the custom properties section.
So far, the only tokens that work are [User:FIRSTNAME] and [User:LASTNAME] and the ones pertaining to the event title and date. I have several from my custom properties fields that I need to include in the email, including their payment amount. Please help!

Silvio, Currently there is no email notification for offline payment, though we will be adding that too..

Veronica,
Currently the email notification does not support Custom Properties for attendees data. we are working on this to improve so that such information will be included as you requested as well.

Erich,

The email notification will be sent if you checked any of the roles when you create the event.

If you did not get any emails, please also check Admin >> Event Viewer to see if there is any error about sending emails?

Hi,

Sorry, I forgot to mention this issue is on Events Calendar Quick Add Module. The User can only input Event-Title, Location, Date and Time. There is no Option to set a Standard E-Mail-Adress.

Erich,

Yes, currently for Quick Add module there is no email address provided, and it will current user's email if user is logged in. also, there is no email notifications for quick added events.

What is your idea on this one?

For all registered users it should be possible to input a Quick Add Event (only input Event-Title, Location, Date and Time) and an email should be sent to a moderator for approving the event

Erich,

We can consider this as an enhancement to be added in the next version v4.0. we will also add an option so that users can choose need to approval or not...

Erich,

Currently we are still adding many new features but we don't have a fixed time for the release yet.

Silvio,

Just want to let you know that I posted an update on this module, that solved a few other bugs, as well as the Email notification upon registration problem.
Though it will not send email for offline payments, it does send email for paid payments, such as PayPal.

You can get an update from Snowcovered.com download page, or here:

Great, thanks.

Can I just install this newer module and overwrite the old custom properties module? I ask because we already use the module and have many events entered already.
