Sorry if this has cropped up before, but I couldn't find anything so here it is:

I've installed the event calendar. The first time through, I got an error though I had errors, but tried it again. It said that the package was installed already and allowed me to repair. I did thing and no errors. Now, the Event Calendar piece shows up in extensions but does not show me Event Calendar in the module selection dropdown. The other 5 applications installed and DO show up in the dropdown.

Okay.. sorry 'bout that. I sounded like a complete retard. I had a guest turn up in the middle of trying to type that out. Just goes to show you should check your work before you submit.

Here is a better explanation of what has happened:

I installed the Event Calendar using the standard install wizard in extensions. It failed, but because I had errors set to "RemoteOnly", I didn't catch the exact error. I went out to extensions again and tried re-installing and was told it was already installed and gave me the option to repair. I selected this and it appeared to install completely at that point.

My extensions screen told me that all the modules for Event Calendar were installed (they all showed up). However, when I go to a page and drop down the module selection DD box, Event Calendar doesn't show up. The other 5 modules do, but they're pretty worthless without an event calendar in which I can place my events. Any ideas. I did try installing using the /install/module method you suggested as well and that went nowhere. It didn't install the module at all.

Jordan,

I believe you are running on DNN5.x?
It was known that DNN5.x sometimes cause this error due to the Time out issue.

Two ways,
1. you can uninstall everything, manually remove all SQL tables starts with "EventsCalendar", and then try install from backend, follow the instruction on the FAQ page.

2. Please send your host account to support @ invenmanager.com and we will try to install it for you.

Thanks.
