I added a number of events. They show up when I'm logged into the site. But, when I'm logged out or for general visitors, the events don't show up on the calendar or on the satelite module. The events have the published checkmark box checked. What causes the events not to show?

Dan,

Go to "Manage Categories" and click on edit for one of the categories. Make sure "All Users" and not just "Administrators" have the right to view the category. If a role cannot view the category, its members will not see the events associated with that category in either calendar view or satellite view.
