Great module!!

If there is one thing at the top of my list, it would be to add to Event Notification Settings:

Notification Time:
[CHECKBOX] Send Notifications Now
[CHECKBOX] Send Notification [POPUPMENU <TimePeriods>] Prior to Event

"Send Notifications Now" is checked by default for new events
"Send Notification [POPUPMENU TimePeriods] Prior to Event" is mostly functionally the same as "[TEXTBOX <email>] [POPUPMENU <TimePeriods>] Notify Me About the Event, except it uses the Event Notification Settings user roles, template, etc.

Right now, I need to remind all Role members a couple days prior to my events. In order to do this, I need to use a tool to export the Role members to a text file, edit the text file to obtain email addresses, import the addresses into a mailing list manager, then add the mailing list email to the "Notify Me About the Event" function for the Calendar event. Whew!

Great suggestion!

We will put this in our TODO list, but it may not be available in the pending release in about 1 month's time.

Thanks.

I would like to second the request for this feature. I purchased the module because I thought that was the way notifications worked - as reminders.

Still a very impressive module packed with a lot features for the money.

Awsome. Great product and great support!

Being a fellow developer I hate to ask, but any idea of when the update will be due out? I'm sure to have some of my people ask about it?

We will do our best to have it ready by end of Oct, maybe sooner....

This is going to be a free upgrade to all v3.0 users.

Thanks.

Is this in the 3.1.1 release? I have that version and I do not see a way to set up reminder notifications to go to specific user roles...

Dawn,

there is a new release v3.1.1 since then, however, this feature is not yet included in that release... sorry

Dawn,

As we just released v3.1.1 not long ago, this may take a little while but we are working on this consistently with good progress now..
