The Event's module is a great module. I'm using it to manage class registrations. The one thing it is missing is attendance management. Basically a way to check the users in and out...

I'm trying to find a way to use a barcode reader for the students to check in also... but I think that's going to be harder to do.

What are you suggestions?

I was about to suggest this myself but I guess I will just second the motion. It would be nice to just be able to tick off the registree as 'attended' 'absent' 'tardy'

I am going to create a separate module to allow authorized users to do the following:

1. Mark attendence. As you said: Status will be: 'attended' 'absent' 'tardy'
2. Print name tag for all attendees.

You are allowed to configure the following:
1. Categories of events to show for that module. (because you may have different event managers to handle different category of events)
2. Template for printing the name tag using tokens.

Future enhancements would be:
1. Send mass mail to all attendees/attended/absent/tardy (allow you to choose the status)
2. Please suggest.
