Hi,

How about a token like (say) "[PAST]" that would render as nothing for current and future events but (say) "Past" for past ones. On list views especially, it can be quite hard to find "today" and my clients have asked to somehow fade or indicate past events. With this token you could do the usual things to flag or "unhighlight" past events.

Cheers

How about if I can add some options for user to choose from different views: Such as, click to view Future events, Past Events, and This month's events, this week's events, and so on.?

Yes I think that's another way to go.

I'm not sure how that would interact with the data pickers, though. What would happen if I'm looking at last April and pick "Future Events"? Or looking at next month's calendar view and pick "This month's". I guess the choices are to either adjust the current date on the picker or to disable/replace the data picker while the special filters are in effect. Either way, I think that would do the job for me - probably better in fact.

One final thought - If it happens this way, should this be part of the search module you mention in another thread? Then the options you mention would simply be quick ways to set the data range for the search. Or maybe I haven't understood the search module properly.

Cheers

** Sorry that should have read "date pickers" not "data pickers".

I did, thanks. I understand the search module a little better now. Adding the options you suggest to a calendar/list view sounds great.
