Hi, I also talk to you about this feature off-forum. Enhancement: To be able to assign a user/role to an event at the time of creation. Thank you for your consideration Mark

Mark, Do you mean assign a role/user to the event, so that the user/role can view the event? If that's the case, you can use the Categories to achieve that. Thanks

I would prefer to add the user as an attendee to the event so later once the attendance module is ready we can also easily manage the attendance of that user.
