It would be nice to have the ability to link the satellite small calendar directly to the main list view. What I need can *almost be accomplished with the satellite module alone, but it is lacking the following:

1. When the satellite displays its own list, the category filter and date selector can't be displayed.
2. The satellite module won't display two different list views. For example, I would need the default view to display the next 20 upcoming events, but when a day is clicked on in the small calendar, only events from that day would be listed.

These two things would be possible if a small calendar click would display events for that day in the main calendar list view.

This would also provide a way to bypass the day view, which is not currently possible.

It looks like a minor tweak to the current functions.

1. Yes, I agree.

2. Currently if you click on a particular day, the Satellite module list will display events STARTING from that day onwards, essentially it also displays events for that day, and more. will this work for you?

Unfortunately my client would like to have a listing of all upcoming events on the main calendar page. When the small calendar is clicked, only the events from that day, if any, would be displayed. While we could get very close with your suggestion and the current functionality, they still would not have the date and category selectors.

The small calendar link to the main list view might be a nice feature to have in the future.

Maybe you would like to try limit the period to only 1~2 day? So when user click on small calendar a particular day, only displays events for that day.
