Im wondering if it were beneficial: Admin approves event but if a user changed details to an event the admin can be notified via email or some other means, sort of like a notification, cheers

Yup, this makes sense as it requires approval in the first place, so it should at least notify any changes to the event the user made...

we can add this feature in the next release.
