We recently purchased Advanced Articles and so far have been really happy. I just have a quick question about the RSS feed. I enabled the DNN syndicate option for the module so that it displays the RSS icon at the bottom of our module panel. When a user clicks this icon it pulls up the DNN version of the feed and it looks exactly the same, but if you click on the article title instead of taking them to the article it drops them back on the main article page. Any idea why the DNN syndicator can't parse the article URLS?

Thanks for your support.
Can you show me your URL so that we can get technical support for you?

I setup a quick demo page for you to take a look at.
http://www.adaweb.net/AdminPages/ArticleTesting.aspx
Basically if a user clicks on the RSS icon at the bottom of the article pane it takes them to the DotNetNuke feed for that module, but if they click on any of the news release titles it just takes them back to the article page and not the selected article.

Which version are you using?
If you are using 4.2.9, it should be linked to the Article detail page. We tested on our machine and it is working fine.
Can let me know?

We are using 4.2.9. on DNN
The feed that Advanced Articles generates but is only accessible from drop down DNN menu does work.
http://www.adaweb.net/Portals/0/2518.xml
But if I set that module pane to be syndicated in DNN (which displays that icon at the bottom) I get the RSS feed with the bad links.

We still have some customization of the layout we want to finish up, but we want to wait until the RSS issue is fixed since this is one of the main reasons we purchased your product. We use the RSS feed to auto update our Twitter page and Facebook status whenever there is a new news release, so it is important that this works correctly for us.

Kevin,
This is already fixed, and the new update should be available in about 1 month's time.
Thanks.

Kevin,
I forget to update you on this.
The DNN Syndication feature can't be changed by this module. It is provided by the default DNN search index, and it ALWAYS brings you to the page, instead of the actual RSS item.
What I can recommend you is to place a button or link below the module, and link to the RSS page of the Advanced Article module, don't use the DNN Syndication if you wan to link to the item.
