What does the "Stick to Top" option mean? In what way does it help?

'Stick to top" means that article is always displayed at the top of the list even if the publish date is not the latest.

Here is a scenario: Publish date is 10th January 2010 Expire date is 30th January 2010 What happens to the article if "Stick to Top" is checked and 1. the date beside it is mentioned as 5th January 2010 2. the date beside it is mentioned as 15th January 2010.

The article set to Stick to Top, will be always displayed on the top od the list.
