How is the publisher notified that there are new articles added but requiring approval?

I was just about to ask the same thing!

I have a group of users who can submit articles, but they require approval from the manager before the articles go live.

I would love to be able to set up a notification to the 'approver' when a new article is submitted, and an email back to the 'creator' when the article is published. It would be great if these were optional (similar to the notifications in Content Manager).

Do we have a date for the coming release?

Currently it can send notification if it is published. :)

For approval notification, it is done, but it is not in v4.3.2. it is included in the upcoming new version v5.0. :)
