Hello,

I have an Intranet. I want to assign people into one role called "editor". This role will be able to edit, publish and approve their own content. I do not want others in that role to be able to edit others content, or to receive any em ails on the content being published.
How do I accomplish this?

For instance, I have 25 employees assigned to the "editor" role in DNN Roles. I then use your module, setup a content type of Editor and set it as the default. If all 25 employees are in this role, and I assigned the User Name (not the role) as the person able to edit the content on each page, would that work?

Yes. the Edit permission is controlled by the DNN permission.

So you need to assign this permission based on their user name. So one user can only edit the content which is asssigned to him.
