Hello,

I am using the 4.2.0 version of the Content Manager Module.

I am using this on 3 of my golf websites. When I go in to make a change, and click update, it shows my changes immediately as long as I'm logged in. However, when I log out, it does not show and it can take anywhere up to 1 hour before the changes show.

I am using DNN platform 4.9.4.

In my Host Settings I have the following for Performance:
Page State Persistence: Page
Module Caching Method: Disk
Authenticated Cacheability: ServerAndNoCache
Compression Setting: No Compression
Use Whitesapce Filter is Unchecked

For Host Schedule for this module, I have the following:

ContentManager.SendEmailReminder, ContentManager = Enabled, Frequency is every 6 Hours with a Retry Time Lapse of every 10 minutes

ContentManager.ArchiveContent, ContentManager = Enabled, Frequency is every 12 Hours with a Retry Time Lapse of every 10 minutes

Please help me get this to show the changes immediately. The website is a small website with not a whole lot of pages.

On a different website, I am using the prior version of this module and there are absolutely no problems with immediately showing changes. The Host settings are the same.

Thank you,

Mark Gordon

Mark,

Go to Module Settings (of the Content manager module), check the Module Cache time at the Module Settings.

Thanks.

I'll check this out and let you know.

If it is in the module cache settings, then it's being set by default. How would I go about changing this on a global scale? I have this module installed multiple times on these pages, so am hoping there is a programmatic way of doing this instead of going module by module and making the change.

Thanks!

Yes, at the bottom of the module settings, you will see two buttons: Set as default, and Apply to all modules.

So I guess maybe you had already set a default module setting that includes a long cache time, so whenever you add a new module, it will use the default Cache settings and other module settings as well.
