I just wanted to ask about the integration of Content Manager with the DNN Search functionality. Is it possible to customise the values that are returned for title and description. We would like about double the length of the description that is currently returned and displayed in the search results, and perhaps not include the title in this description.

Is it possible to do this, so that when we re-index via the Search admin, these new values would be populated in the Search tables?

In order to do that, we need to customize by modifying the source codes. As there is no settings to be set for the search results.

Unfortunately, no. We purchased the Standard Edition as initially this was suitable for our needs. We may need to look at upgrading to a source code edition.... is this possible. Is there an upgrade path?

Of course upgrading to source codes and customize on your own is the last thing I would suggest you to do.

Currently the search results shows both the Title of the module as well as the content, is this a problem for your case?
