I recently added the module to my site. I created a Content Type and gave a single role the ability to Approve content. After making a change to the module content, the Approver receives an email with a link "to view the latest changes". The link is very similar to this:


http://mysite.com/dotnetnuke/Home/test2.aspx?mid=487&ctl=Approval&ContentID=10&uid=5

When clicking on the link, the user is taken to the "Content Manager Approval" page with the option to Approve or Reject the Content. This is BEFORE the user is required to login.

Shouldn't the Approver have to login first before they can actually Appprove the content??

That's so called "One Click Approval" function many users were dying for.

However, if you want users to login to approve, you can change that token in the email notification template.

Follow the steps below:

1. Add a Content Approval module to a new page. (This module will show all contents pending approval for the current user)

2. Then have the link to this page included in the email template. (So user will click on the link to visit the new page to approve the content).

3. You can set the appropriate permission for that new page. To prevent unauthorized access.
